I know if my Court will accept this Traffic School program?

Most Courts in California have approved this Traffic School for use and you will see our program listed on the list of approved home study programs given to you by the Court. If you are eligible for traffic school and your court has given you the option of a "home study program", then your citation will be dismissed as soon as that court receives your completion certificate. This course replaces the 8-hour walk-in traffic school requirement.

Please check with your Court if you are unsure of our approval.
Pursuant to Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations, the court may not order or permit a person who holds a class A, class B, or commercial class C driver's license (TRUCKER) to complete a licensed traffic violator school, a licensed driving school, or any other court-approved program of driving instruction in lieu of adjudicating any traffic offense committed by the holder of a class A, class B, or commercial class C driver's license.
FEDERAL DISTRICT COURTS ARE FOR VIOLATIONS RECEIVED ON A MILITARY BASE OR NATIONAL PARK. If you did not receive your ticket in one of those locations then you must choose the "Superior Court County" and "District Court" cited you received the violation in during registration of this course. If you did NOT locate this Traffic School on the court listing, we are not approved in that county, and your certificate of completion will NOT be accepted, or can be REJECTED if sent electronically (SCMS) by the court.

Every court has different requirements. Selecting the wrong court may result in improper processing of your certificate of completion which may result in an unnecessary delay or a mistake while routing your certificate. This may result in additional fines or fees, which you will be responsible for. If you are uncertain which court to select call the court to verify which one you received your citation from.
 
 
How many quizzes/exams are there?

This Traffic School course is designed in 6 sections. Each section has a 10 question practice quiz (multiple-choice and true/false). In each section there will be a KEYWORD which you should write down when you come across it in the section chapter text, because you will need to answer the KEYWORD question correctly prior to beginning each quiz. The final exam typically consists of 25 questions taken directly from the chapter quizzes. You must pass the final exam with a score of 80% or higher.

Please note: You will be able to retake the quizzes and final exam
if you do not pass the first time, AT NO EXTRA CHARGE.

How long will it take me to complete the course?

The great thing about this course is that you work at your own pace. Everyone reads at different speeds, and this program will allow you to proceed at your own speed. The average completion time varies, because every individual reads, and comprehends at their own pace. In order for the Courts to approve our online Traffic Schools, we must have 400 minutes of curriculum, and provide Court required information. This online program is designed to accommodate individuals who need to take a 400-minute traffic violator ( 8 hour ) program.

When can I start the course?

You may register for our traffic school program anytime 24 hours a day, seven days a week online without the need to call us. You may order a workbook online ( in select counties ), and make payment online. However if you don't have access to a computer you must call us and request a workbook, and provide your payment information. Do I have to complete the course all at once?

No, you can study at your own pace.
You will be able to start and stop the course as often as you need. The course can be done at your convenience because your progress will be saved in the system and noted on your student status page. To log back into the course after you have logged off you will click on ( Login ) tab on the bottom of the homepage then enter your ( User ID and Password )this will take you back into the course where you can continue where you left off.

Is my information confidential?

It's secure with us! This Traffic School respects your privacy by not sharing, selling, disseminating, or distributing your personal information to anybody.

How much will it cost and how can I pay for the program?

The cost for the online program is $11.99 includes certificate of completion ........ except in the following counties: Amador, Butte, Contra Costa, Del Norte, Glenn, Lake, Lassen, Mendocino, Modoc, Napa, Plumas, Riverside, San Francisco, Sierra, Siskiyou, Santa Cruz, Solano, and Ventura Counties. The cost in these counties is $14.99 due to the added cost of doing business in these counties. This cost also includes certificate of completion. When you get to the payment page between sections two, and three the cost and delivery options for your county will be displayed for you to choose from. The cost for the workbook program is $22.99 This includes priority mailing of workbook, and certificate of completion. Workbook program is seperate from online program THEY ARE two seperate formats, you will choose one or the other, NOT BOTH. Expedited service cost is separate. ( Workbooks not available in all Counties ) Fresno, Humboldt, and Orange Counties DO NOT ALLOW WORKBOOKS. This program is NOT approved for a workbook format in all CCS and NTSA Counties, ONLINE ONLY .
 Note: Payment must be made before a workbook can be sent.

 If your county requires Identity verification, and you choose the online ID verification option there is an additional $9.00 Fee ( non refundable ).

Authorize.net for online payments. After you fill out the registration form you can be linked to a completely secure credit card page where you pay quickly and effortlessly. The credit card processing service site is encrypted to make your on-line purchase safe.

We DO NOT have access to any information entered on the Payment Service Website! For certificate mailing we use only the address entered during registration.
Anyone can make payment for you, be sure when you're on the credit card service site that the "Billing Information" matches the credit card holder. Also it is important after submitting your payment, that you click on "Finalize Payment" to send payment onto your student file, on the Traffic School website.
Pay with a check or money order by mail. If choosing this option you will need to contact our staff. We will need to manipulate your student file so you can continue with the course until payment is received.Make sure to send the check before you complete the course and at least "10 days" before your completion date. COUNTIES THAT REQUIRE ELECTRONICALLY SENT CERTIFICATES OF COMPLETION

Alameda, El Dorado, Humboldt, Kern, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, Orange, Placer, Sacramento, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Shasta, Sonoma, Stanislaus, Truckee (Nevada), Tulare, Tuolumne, and Yolo. All other counties will be mailed! to the student for their signature, it is the students responsibility to get their certificate to the court from there.

 The traffic school certificate of completion will be sent electronically, immediately 24-7 after the student completes the traffic school course ONLINE via the SCMS "Secure Certificate Management System" to the court. When the court accesses the (SCMS) System and takes action on your certificate of completion,  you the student will receive either an e-mail, or text message from the court via the (SCMS) System. Follow up on the certificate of completion will be done thru the court not the traffic school.

I heard something about identity verification, what is that?
Identity verification is a procedure whereupon you as the student are required to prove your identity.
This Traffic School offers two options for identity verification.

Remember: All home study programs approved in those counties MUST require your identity be verified so if they're telling you something different it is suggested that you call and ask the court.

OPTION 1: Online Identity Verification (IDOLOGY) - Fee $9.00 PLEASE READ!
IT'S HERE! IDENTITY VERIFICATION THROUGH IDOLOGY! NO "CREDIT" HISTORY REQUIRED!
A small percentage of users may not receive confirmation of identity when utilizing this method due to the lack of information contained within the ID Verification database, through IDOLOGY. Some issues, but not all, that may result in failure may be; the user's lack of history.
Example: (recently moved out of parents house) (still living at parents house, attending school, or in military) (less than two years employed) Recently moved to U.S., (does not have a SS#) incorrect information provided by the user, user is a teenager, and possibly up to age 25.(if you do not have adequate address history (at least 2 yrs. in own home, apt.), purchase history, or other identifying history do not attempt to use this Id verification process).
 
The ID verification company that we contract with is approved by the Courts and is utilized by most of the home study traffic schools. We have no access to your personal data and are not affiliated with the third party database authentication company; we simply pay them to verify our students whether you pass or fail.
During the verification process you will be asked to enter certain information to begin the process. Only enter what is requested, don't omit any information requested. Then double check your entries for typing errors, omissions, and incorrect information before submitting the information (If they are unable to match the information you entered with the information from your history you will fail at that point, and the $9.00 fee will be collected ).
If you are advanced to the next part of the ID verification process you will be given a selection of three to four questions for verification. Usually based on history of previous addresses that will be listed to chose from, If you pass you will be able to take the final exam online.
If you fail the ID Verification process you are welcome to try again for an additional fee of $9.00. Whether you pass or fail the results will be immediately relayed to the Traffic School. The $9.00 fee will be collected whether you pass, fail, or your ID verification is terminated/expired because you opened a new session /or went over 60 seconds per question/back browsed or logged back in after completing the ID verification process and before completing the final exam and submitting it for grading.
To choose this option, simply select the "Online ID Verification" option after you have selected the court district your ticket/citation was issued in. When you are ready to begin the Final Exam you will be prompted and directed to the Idology website to verify your identity.

 

OPTION 2: In-Person Notary Public - Fee up to $10.00 max To choose this option, simply select the "In-Person ID Verification" option after you have selected the court district your ticket/citation was issued in. With this option you will be required to print out the Final Exam, Answer Sheet and Notary Verification form and take all the printed documentation, or the workbook if you are a workbook student, to a Notary of your choice. You will then have to show a valid picture ID to the notary and while the notary completes the form you must complete the final exam in the their presence. After you complete the final exam you will then need to fax the final exam answer sheet and the completed Identity Verification form with the notary's signature and notary stamp to the Traffic School for grading and processing.

Where can I find a Notary Public?

Notaries can be found in any city throughout the State. They're in Mail Box ect., Kinkos, Postal Annexes, UPS stores etc. after you have finished taking the final exam you can fax the final exam answer sheet, and completed notary form from these facilities which makes it very convenient for you as the student. You may also have a notary in your place of business, or friend, just can't use your spouse if they are a notary.

Will there be an additional cost for the Notary?

There may be an additional cost depending on where you find your notary. Many banks, and insurance companies will provide notary services free of charge. Otherwise notaries are limited to charging $10.00 per signature. (Remember: mobile notaries may charge for mileage and/or travel time). All additional fees, if any are the responsibility of the student.

What is the Final Exam like?

Remember: The final examination is essentially a course review and you should not have any problems passing with a score of 80% or higher . In the unlikely event that you do not pass the first time, you may retake the exam as many times as necessary at no additional charge from us. If you are completing the exam in the presence of a Notary, keep in mind that the notary may charge more for each additional signature required.

What happens after I complete the Final Exam?

If you complete, and pass your final exam Mon.-Fri. prior to 2 pm, your certificate will be printed and mailed via what method you have paid for that day. If you complete after 2PM PST it will be processed the following day, on Friday your certificate will not be processed until the following Monday.

If you chose In Person ID Verification, you can either fax, or mail (if you have the time ) your completed final exam answer sheet along with the completed, and signed notary verification form to the Traffic School. Our staff will grade your exam, and if you have passed they will print your certificate, and mail via what method you have paid for. If completed prior to 2PM PST Monday thru Friday. If after 2PM PST on Friday your certificate will not be processed until the following Monday.

Your certificate will be mailed to you utilizing the information given when you registered therefore please do not abbreviate the name of your city, and don't forget to put your apartment number, PO Box number etc. (Spelling of name is correct) First and last name is all that is required for the Court. ( Same name on your debit card, credit card, or checking account) This will also make payment easier when everything matches correctly. We can't be responsible for lost or misdirected certificates if you don't give us your complete and accurate mailing address, and name.
ALL CERTIFICATES OF COMPLETION THAT WILL BE MAILED DIRECTLY TO THE STUDENT, WILL BE THE STUDENT'S RESPONSIBILITY FOR SIGNING THE COURT COPY AND DELIVERING THE CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION TO THE PROPER COURT "ON TIME".
Look for an auto generated email from our program letting you know your certificate has been processed, and it will be mailed that day whatever method you paid for. (Accept CCS and NTSA Counties).

Please note: The FREE Standard mail delivery of the certificate of completion can take anywhere from three to seven (3-7) mailing days with the average being about 5 days. depending on your location. If you have completed the course with less than 10 mailing days prior to your certificate due date, it is highly recommended that you opt for one of the express delivery options available to ensure you receive your certificate of completion with enough time to get the certificate to the proper court before the certificate due date passes.

This means you will receive your certificate sometime during normal business hours, 8am - 5pm Monday thru Friday. In most cases your Fed Ex envelope will be left at your front door. Recipient signature not required.

We try our best to have all certificates of completion arrive next day if the overnight option is selected, or within 2 days if the 2 day option selected. Note this is not always possible, due to adverse national weather conditions, disruption of national transportation networks, Homeland security problems, etc. in these cases no refunds will be made for late/delayed deliveries.

If we receive, or you complete your final exam Before 2PM PST on Friday, you will receive your certificate on the following Monday for overnight, and Tuesday for 2-day. If we receive, or you complete after 2PM PST on Friday your certificate will not be sent out until the following Monday.
Special Note/Instructions for the following Counties ~

(Butte, Glenn, Lake, Lassen, Napa, Riverside, Santa Cruz, and Ventura Counties)

These Courts require that you take your final exam through a third-party provider. Don't worry, you will automatically be linked there after you complete our course and this requires no effort on your part. You will be taken to the Coordinated Court Services (CCS) site.
Effective Monday, February 23, 2009: Glenn, Lake,Lassen, Napa, Santa Cruz, and Ventura Superior Courts.

"The following Courts require you go through an identification verification system. Each Court may utilize one or more options for you to choose from and you will be informed of those options after you complete the course and prior to taking the Final Examination. There may be an additional fee of $5.00 depending on which option you choose."

A failure will require the student to go to the CCS final exam site and download a test requiring Notarization of the students Final Exam.

If the student does not agree to the ID verification options, or is opposed to the additional fee, they will be required to download a final exam, complete the exam before a Notary Public and mail it to CCS for grading in order to get credit for successfully completing the final exam. The test will be available on the CCS site once the student links over for the Final Exam.

Once you pass your Final Exam on their site, they will send your certificate DIRECTLY to the Court for you. Should you have any questions about the Final Exam process or for Certificate follow-up, for these counties, please call.

These Courts below require that you take your final exam through a third-party provider. Don't worry, you will automatically be linked there after you complete our course and this requires no effort on your part. You will be taken to the National Safety Administration (NTSA) site. They will administer your final exam, and process your certificate of completion, and electronically send it to the Court for you.

Some browsers such as Netscape 7.0 and older, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari may not be totally compatible with our program. If you are having problems accessing some web pages you will need to change your browser to Internet Explorer.
 
Firewall programs, popup blocker programs and cyber sitting programs ( programs that control children's access to the internet ) can also cause problems with displaying certain web pages. If the above actions don't solve the problem, you may need to disable the programs until you complete the course.
 

How can I get a refund and/or cancel my registration?

We are hoping that you don't need to utilize this information but in case you are unable to complete your course for any reason you may get a full refund (less the shipping and handling charges of $10.00). There will be no questions asked as long as we haven't mailed your certificate of completion. If you will be unable to complete the course before your due date, and think you might need to cancel your registration you may want to contact your court to see about getting an extension, or grace period, before giving up. Remember that we do have express mail options and most go by postmarks.

In the event that you will not be able to finish after all, we will be able to refund your payment (less $10.00). If we haven't sent your certificate of completion.

Any, and all refunds granted will be credited using the same form of payment that was used at the time of the original payment processing. The same credit card used will be refunded only. Cashier's checks, money orders, or cash will be refunded by company check. Refunds may be granted for up to 6 months past the original payment date only.
